How to Measure

Prepare: Measure feet later in the day while wearing the socks normally used with the shoes.

Position: Put a sheet of paper on a hard floor with one edge against a wall. Stand with the heel lightly touching the wall.

Mark: Mark the end of the longest toe while standing with weight distributed normally.

Measure: Measure from the wall edge to the toe mark in centimetres. Compare that result with the correct age-group chart.

Both Feet: Measure both feet and use the larger result. Slight differences between feet are common.

Check Width: Foot length does not show width or volume. The upper should feel secure without painful pressure at the sides.

Kids' Fit: Recheck children's sizes regularly. Shoes should allow toe movement while holding the heel securely.

Between Sizes: Choose the larger size when the smaller option presses the toes or sides of the foot.
