- Park / Cable Boards: Built with a softer flex and a "Sintered" or "Grind" base designed to withstand the friction of plastic rails and features. These boards often have a completely flat base to prevent catching on obstacles.
- The Rocker Debate: Continuous vs. 3-Stage
- Continuous Rocker: Offers a smooth, predictable curve from tip to tail. This results in a fast, consistent ride and soft landings—perfect for carving and long-distance sessions.
- 3-Stage Rocker: Features a flat spot in the center with two distinct "kinks" at the ends. This creates a vertical, explosive pop off the wake, though it may result in slightly higher drag and harder landings.
