Airhole Balaclava Hinge Thermacolour Laser
Airhole Size Guide
Adult & Junior Balaclavas and Thermal Layers
Find your fit before heading into the cold. Use your measurements as a starting point, and check the product listing for available sizes and any style-specific fit information.
Adult Balaclavas
Measure around the fullest part of your head using a flexible measuring tape. Keep the tape level and comfortably snug.
| Size | Head circumference |
|---|---|
| S/M | 50–55 cm / 19.7–21.7 in |
| M/L | 55–60 cm / 21.7–23.6 in |
| Adult O/S — selected laser-opening styles | 50–60 cm / 19.7–23.6 in |
Not every balaclava is offered in every size. The adult O/S measurement should not be used for junior styles.
A balaclava should sit comfortably against your face without excessive pressure or bunching. Check the fit with your goggles and helmet.

Junior Balaclavas
Airhole Junior Milk Fleece and Microfleece balaclavas are offered in Junior One Size (O/S).
Junior One Size is a separate fit from adult sizing. Airhole does not clearly specify a junior-only head circumference range, so we recommend checking the fit rather than choosing by age alone.
The balaclava should fit comfortably around the head and face, with the breathing opening positioned correctly. Try it with the child’s helmet and goggles to check for pressure or bunching.

Description
Featuring our Laser micro-airholes, the Drytech Laser Airholes balaclava allows for maximum breathability without sacrificing warmth.
It's a full hinge balaclava for snowboarding and skiing, made in our lightweight Drytech. Laser-cut micro-airholes across the face panel let your breath out instead of up into your goggles, so your lenses stay clearer, and there's no ring at the mouth.
The hinge gives you full face coverage, or wear it down under your chin. The shaped face panel sits flat under a helmet without bunching, so it doubles as a helmet liner.
Drytech wicks moisture away from your face and dries fast, so it suits high-output days. On our warmth scale Drytech is an Everyday fabric, for roughly 0 to −10°C.
Fabric: 85% polyester, 15% spandex. One size, fits heads 50–60 cm. Want one original Airhole instead? The Balaclava Hinge Drytech has a welded one.
