éS Footwear Fit Guide

Broad Fit

Accel OG, Accel Penny and Creager. Broader base and toe-box volume for wider feet or a roomier skate fit.

Regular Fit

Accel, Accel Fit, TJ Rogers, Imprint, Swift 1.5 and Swift 2. Secure everyday fit without excessive bulk.

Medium Fit

Quattro, Sophisto and Two Nine 8. Standard medium-width silhouette with balanced support.

Slim Fit

Accel Slim and Accel Slim Mid. Reduced bulk and a narrower, closer feel around the foot.

Width: éS does not generally manufacture separate width sizes. If a medium-width model feels too close, try a broad-fit silhouette or go up half a size.

Choosing Your Fit

Technical Fit

A snug, secure fit improves board feel and control, but your toes should not be pressed against the front.

Comfort Fit

For more everyday room, add approximately 1 cm to your measured foot length before using the chart.

Between Sizes

Choose the larger size. A shoe that is slightly roomy can be adjusted with lacing; a shoe that is too short cannot.

Break-In

Wear new shoes around the house before skating. The tongue, toe box and insole will soften and conform with use.

How to Measure

Prepare: Measure later in the day while wearing the socks you normally use for skating or everyday wear.

Position: Place a sheet of paper on a hard floor against a wall. Stand naturally with your heel lightly touching the wall.

Mark: Ask someone to mark the end of your longest toe while you remain standing.

Measure: Measure from the wall edge of the paper to the toe mark in centimetres.

Both Feet: Repeat for both feet and use the longer measurement, as one foot may be slightly larger.

Check Width: Length alone does not measure foot width or volume. Choose the model silhouette that best matches your foot shape.

Fit Check: Your heel should feel secure and your toes should move naturally without painful pressure at the front or sides.

Orthotics: Measure and try shoes with your usual insoles or orthotics in place because they reduce internal volume.
