Oakley Helmet Size Guide

Oakley Snow Helmet Size Guide

A properly fitted helmet should feel comfortably snug and remain securely in place without creating pressure points. Use a soft measuring tape to measure around the widest part of your head, keeping the tape level just above your eyebrows and ears. Compare your measurement in centimetres with the appropriate Oakley helmet model below.

How Should an Oakley Snow Helmet Fit?

Place the helmet on your head from front to back. The front edge should sit just above your eyebrows and low enough on your forehead to provide proper coverage. The back of the helmet should not extend down over the nape of your neck.

Adjust the rear BOA® Fit System or fit dial until the helmet feels comfortably secure. It should remain in place when you gently move your head without feeling overly tight or creating uncomfortable pressure points.

Fasten the chin strap so it feels snug but does not restrict breathing or movement.

Check the Helmet and Goggle Fit

Put your snow goggles on with the helmet. There should be minimal to no gap between the top of the goggles and the helmet brim.

The helmet should not push the goggles down onto your nose or create pressure that makes the goggles uncomfortable. For the best integration, try your helmet and goggles together whenever possible.

Between Two Sizes?

If your measurement falls directly between sizes, consider your head shape and how you plan to wear the helmet. Choose the smaller size for a closer fit or the larger size if you need additional room for a thin balaclava.

The fit system can fine-tune the helmet, but it cannot correct a shell that is significantly too large or too small. Always follow the size range listed on the individual product page when it differs from this general guide.
