Since 1992, Ride Snowboards has focused on one goal: making high-performance equipment for the most demanding snowboarders on the planet. At The Drop, we carry Ride because they don't play it safe. From their proprietary urethane sidewalls to their aluminum binding chassis, Ride gear is built to absorb impact and keep you charging through the harshest Canadian conditions.
The Pig Series & All-Mountain Heavyweights
Ride revolutionized board shapes with the Pig Series. The Warpig and Superpig are short, wide, volume-shifted powerhouses that allow you to size down while gaining unmatched maneuverability and float. For those seeking a more traditional freestyle or all-mountain feel, the Ride Algorythm and Shadowban offer a perfect blend of stability and pop, while the Deep Fake stands as the ultimate tool for high-speed carving and technical lines.
Indestructible Innovation: Slimewalls®
What truly sets Ride boards apart is Slimewalls®. Instead of traditional rigid sidewalls, Ride uses urethane (the same material as skateboard wheels). This makes their edges virtually indestructible and provides a smoother, more dampened ride by absorbing impact rather than defending against it. Whether you are hitting street rails or icy groomers, Slimewalls® keep your ride stable and your board in one piece.
The Binding Debate: A-Series vs. C-Series
Ride’s binding philosophy is simple: choice. Their A-Series (Aluminum) chassis is designed for the rider who wants the reactive flex and instant power transfer of metal. If you prefer a more dampened, surfy feel, the C-Series (Composite) chassis pairs an aluminum heelcup with a high-tech nylon tray for a smoother ride. Both series feature Ride's signature durability and precise adjustability.
